CARNIRIV, The Rivers State Carnival is about showcasing what is essentially a way of life of the people of Rivers State Nigeria by taking it out of the mundane to give it the status of an art form. The Carnival is a celebratory convergence and display of remarkable cultural content. It has been described as a marriage of art, beauty, tradition, colour and entertainment and dates back to 1988. It is about showcasing what is essentially a way of life of the people of Rivers State, Nigeria by taking it out of the mundane to give it the status of an art form.
